If you are looking for a resort where you just want to lay around and do nothing for a few days except get a tan and swim in the pool this is the place for you. They do work with an outside company to book excursions but the resort itself is very small very low-key with only 38 rooms available. There is one restaurant with a limited menu for breakfast and dinner. There is a poolside restaurant for lunch and drinks with staff that does come around and take your order. You can eat from your beautiful cabana in front of the pool overlooking the beach or on your lounge chairs. The food overall was very good for its limited menu, but does take a while to come out remember you’re on beach time. But if you’re looking for an upbeat resort with a lot of amenities and games and inclusive activities, this is not the place for you. While housekeeping staff was attentive and accommodating. Your room is not automatically replenished with things like tissues, towels, water, and the bed is not made every day. However, if you do ask, they will immediately accommodate you. Overall our stay at the Senses Riviera Maya by Artisan was wonderful and I would definitely go back.

All of the employees were very friendly, the majority spoke English, the food is some of the best we have ever had! The presentation, taste, quality, and freshness of the food we’re definitely a 10 of 10. It is definitely a great place to truly relax with easy access to the beach, swimming pool, and massage. If you are looking for a party resort, this definitely is not it but you can take a quick trip into town about a 20 minute drive for all of that. We did several tours here where we would leave early from the resort or get back really late and we just made arrangements with the front desk and they made sure we had food before we left or when we got back. (even before/after restaurant hours) Amazing customer service!
